KRISTIN DOBROSKY
Kristin is dedicated to the ways in which the law can empower, restore, and protect rights. With a dynamic background in law and business, she believes in offering holistic legal solutions to her Clients as they heal, grow and progress through their lived experiences.
Kristin graduated with Distinction from the Dalhousie Bachelor of Business Management Program in 2012. Throughout her business studies she was actively involved with her Faculty and served as Vice President Finance (2010-2011) and Vice President External (2011-2012) for the Dalhousie Management Society. She also travelled to Mississippi with the Dalhousie Habitat for Humanity Chapter to build houses for Hurricane Katrina victims, co-chaired the inaugural Dalhousie Annual Seven Speaker Series, and worked with the University council to approve the first law minor for the Bachelor of Management program.
After obtaining her BoBM Kristin moved to Melbourne, Australia, where she was appointed as Operations Manager for the award-winning financial advising firm, Freedom Finance Australia, before returning home to complete her Juris Doctor in Law at Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law.
Kristin believes in fostering Nova Scotia and its’ communities. Her community contributions include: working with the Nova Scotia Access to Justice & Law Reform Institute on legal education projects, teaching part-time at Schulich School of Law, offering Probono estate planning documents to terminally ill individuals through the Nova Scotia Health Law Program, and providing trauma-informed Probono legal advice to workplace sexual harassment survivors, in collaboration with the Legal Information Society of Nova Scotia.
NICOLE HARTLE
Nicole has an unwavering commitment to make a meaningful and positive difference to her Clients’ lives and is passionate about protecting their rights and freedoms. Nicole provides client-centred advice in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.
Nicole developed an enthusiasm for law and justice from an early age. She qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2018. Since then, her career has spanned three countries, including England, Australia and now Canada, having permanently emigrated here in September 2022. Nicole’s international experience focused on civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Her experience includes working at an international law firm in Birmingham, England, at a leading insurance law firm in Brisbane, Australia, and for the oldest law firm in British Columbia.
Nicole completed the lawyer transfer process in British Columbia in 2024 and was admitted as a lawyer in Nova Scotia in April 2025. Since arriving in Canada, Nicole has had a primary focus on immigration and citizenship law. Nicole also has a keen interest in family law.
Throughout her career, Nicole has participated in various community and social responsibility initiatives as she strongly believes in supporting communities and giving back. Her community contributions include providing pro bono advice for the Citizens Advice Bureau in England, participating in a ‘Kindness Calls’ program to help support vulnerable women in isolated communities in Australia during the pandemic, volunteering at an animal shelter and fundraising for YMCA initiatives.
